Introduction to Barbering

If you are interested in a career in Barbering, then this is the perfect course for you. This course will provide you with the ideal starting point in Barbering and provide you with basic cutting and styling techniques. This will give you the basis to go on further and gain a full qualification or an apprenticeship.

We will cover consultation, short and long scissor work, clipper, tapering, and blending. Blow-drying and styling plus Shampooing, conditioning ,and health and safety. This course has weekly homework requirements and contains exams which will need study time.

There is also Theory sessions, all of which you are required to attend. No prior experience is required to access this course.

You will be required to purchase the Headmasters Hair ACADEMY KIT that you can get through our academy. This will include scissors, head block, brushes and combs. There will be other types of equipment available on site also if you require or wish to purchase them.
